Our innovative Seaweed Bioplastic Pellets represent the next step in sustainable materials. Developed from renewable seaweed feedstock, these biodegradable pellets are being tested for use in injection molding, extrusion, and film production. Although still in the pilot phase, the material is designed to offer a compostable, low-carbon alternative to conventional plastics.
Seaweed bioplastic pellets are currently under development and available only for R&D collaborations. Indicative properties include:
Packaging, food-safe films, compostable wrappers, consumer products, and sustainable prototypes. Bioplastic seaweed pellets can be adapted to a wide range of molding and extrusion processes.
Source: Derived from cultivated seaweed biomass, supporting marine-friendly and regenerative supply chains. Production pilots are underway to scale sustainable bioplastics from ocean resources.
Switching to seaweed-based bioplastics helps reduce reliance on fossil plastics and enables compostable end-of-life solutions. Early tests show promising reductions in CO₂ footprint compared to conventional plastics.
Seaweed bioplastic pellets are currently available only on request for R&D projects, pilot collaborations, and innovation partnerships. Contact us to explore samples and upcoming availability.
Are these pellets commercially available?
