Ocean Material Innovation
Ocean Material is opening a new material stream from retired deep-sea cables. Together with specialist recovery partners, cable recovery is now underway. Initial material analyses have already been completed for selected recovered fractions.
Recycling capacity is now being developed to turn recovered cable components into traceable materials for industry. These components include HDPE and LDPE, copper, steel and optical fibres. Material qualification and recycling capacity are progressing; regular commercial supply remains under development.

Share your intended product, processing method, performance requirements, required quantity and delivery destination. Ocean Material helps compare suitable material options, align the specification and coordinate samples for evaluation. See application examples and contact our team to discuss your project.
Include the polymer, form, grade or key specification, colour, required origin or documentation, quantity and delivery destination. Reference the product name or SKU when available. We review material selection, available technical documentation and sourcing requirements for the selected grade; TDS and detailed specifications are available on request.
Tell us about the feedstock and intended product. Our technology overview explains the development approach, while lightweight structural panels are a prototype offer for selected projects, not an established standard supply.
Ocean-bound plastics are collected near coastlines before entering the ocean, while fishing nets are recovered after marine use.

It integrates sourcing, certification, and industrial processing.
Suitable feedstocks can be assessed for industrial application development. Composition, preparation, formulation and product testing determine whether a selected stream is suitable; the current panel offer is at prototype stage.
Life cycle assessments (LCAs) are available for selected materials and production sites within our partner network, not for every product, grade or supply chain. Tell us about your application, performance requirements and sourcing needs. We will review the available environmental data with our partners and help identify suitable material options for your project.
